Review the context
Search for relevant words, then review surrounding messages. Check whether a reply, correction or later clarification changes how a passage reads.
Review dates, participants and attachment warnings. A missing-media indicator is a gap to understand, not content the tool can recover.
If you narrow the displayed dates or mask part of a number, check the resulting presentation. Keep the unfiltered source and remember that identifying details can remain in it.
